Job Title: Director of Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to lead our contract manufacturing and packaging operations in Tennessee. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, including production planning, quality control, and supply chain management.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, with a proven track record of driving efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for developing and implementing production schedules, managing a team of permanent and temporary staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure timely and efficient operations.
  • Manage a team of permanent and temporary staff, including the Bottling Manager, Blending Technicians, and Inventory Technicians.
  • Establish and refine best practices, process flows, and daily standard work procedures for the contract bottling department.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to contribute to the overall strategic planning and growth of the business.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and performance metrics to drive productivity, quality, and financial performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of managing and leading teams in a food and/or beverage contract production or co-packing environment.
  • Proven experience operating in a GFSI-certified facility (e.g., BRC, SQF) with a strong understanding of HACCP principles.
  • LEAN manufacturing expertise to analyze manufacturing costs and identify areas for cost optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish financial controls and manage budgets within a manufacturing setting.
