Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Director of Operations to oversee and drive the success of approximately 12 locations across Kansas and Oklahoma. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, achieving financial goals, and fostering growth and profitability within the assigned markets.

The ideal candidate will lead a diverse team of 12 managers and over 300 associates, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement regional objectives and strategic plans that align with corporate goals and drive operational success.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure all locations within the region operate efficiently and effectively, maintaining high standards in Food & Nutrition/Dining and Housekeeping/Environmental Services.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage regional budgets, financial performance, and profitability, implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve financial targets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and associates, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all operations comply with corporate policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
  • Client and Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for service improvement and expansion.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Travel: Regular and extensive travel throughout Kansas and Oklahoma to oversee and support regional operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multi-site operations and large teams.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and drive organizational change.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using operational and financial management software and tools.
