Job Title:
Senior Structural Engineer

Position Overview:
Join Actalent as a Senior Structural Engineer, where you will leverage your expertise in BIM and Revit Structural to effectively communicate 3-D designs to project teams, stakeholders, and construction professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute structural engineering tasks for clients in diverse sectors, including:
- Industrial facilities
- Power generation plants
- Food and beverage projects, such as grain and dairy processing facilities.
- Develop tailored engineering packages for both federal and non-federal projects.
- Engage with clients regarding design package updates through various communication channels.
- Collaborate with internal design and engineering teams to ensure project success.
- Take ownership of project objectives in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Project Focus:
This role emphasizes high-performance projects with a forward-thinking approach in food and beverage, federal initiatives, and industrial facility design. The aim is to deliver exceptional projects while ensuring a positive experience for clients and communities alike, all while managing multiple projects of varying complexity and duration.

Documentation and Standards:
- Create comprehensive construction documents and establish standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Engage in steel design and concrete foundation work for pre-engineered structures.

Qualifications:
- Degree with a focus on Structural Engineering.
- Over 15 years of structural engineering experience, particularly in facility, food/beverage, or industrial projects from an architecture and engineering firm.
- Valid PE License in Minnesota.
