Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll and Billing Specialist to join our team at BrightStar Care of Santa Barbara County. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely weekly billing and payroll.

Key Responsibilities
  • Billing: Prepare and issue weekly invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner, reconcile billing discrepancies, and resolve issues prior to payroll being submitted.
  • Payroll: Process weekly payroll with oversight by the Finance Manager, ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations, and prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
  • Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks as needed.
  • General Administrative Support: Assist with weekly reporting, support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and information, and perform other general administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in billing and payroll functions, one year preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting/payroll software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player and ability to demonstrate our 5 Core Values.
