Job SummaryThe Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. This includes greeting guests, handling room assignments, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming smile, maintaining eye contact and using a positive tone of voice.
- Employ operational and selling techniques to maximize occupancy levels and achieve the highest average rate possible.
- Maintain accurate information on and promote hotel facilities, ensuring guests have a comprehensive understanding of our amenities.
- Comply with all accounting procedures, maintaining a cash bank and adhering to security protocols.
- Communicate effectively with Front Office and related departments, staying aware of issues and attending scheduled meetings.
- Adhere to safety, security, and emergency procedures, reacting promptly to emergency situations and correcting hazards.
- Operate front office telephone, computer systems, and equipment, including ten key adding machines and facsimile machines.
- Promptly complete registration processes, inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirming guest details, and selecting guest rooms based on their needs.
- Close out guest accounts at check-out, properly filing and retrieving registration cards.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to speak, read, and understand English.
