About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Williams-Sonoma during the holiday season. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a positive and engaging store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to customers, ensuring a positive and lasting impression
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling sales, returns, exchanges, and other customer interactions
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including features, benefits, and care instructions
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to customers, promoting sales and driving revenue growth
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail or sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
