Cashier - Holiday Seasonal Sonoma

Responsibilities- Maintain a lively and upbeat store environment for customers and teammates.
- Engage multiple clients at the cash wrap and create a positive, lasting impression by offering personalized service.
- Accurately and efficiently perform register/POS transactions, sales, returns, exchanges, and other tasks.
- Ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise, using price overrides when necessary to charge the correct, current price of SKUs.
- Manage all aspects of a customer's expectations, clearly communicating product information, care, maintenance, timeframes, and delivery.
- Affirm the client's purchase and offer additional merchandise suggestions to complement and complete initial selections.
- Ensure clients are aware of all promotions that may impact sales.
- Share information and testimonials about products, in-store events, and workshops that enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain visual standards and supplies of the cash wrap area.
- Maximize available resources to get customers what they want and resolve any issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, complying with all Company policies and procedures.
- Foster an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect, in accordance with our People-First Philosophy.
- Love closing sales and can articulate a proven ability to exceed goals.

- Passionate about creating lasting relationships with customers by capturing contacts, reconnecting, and promoting all of the inspiration, events, and services Williams-Sonoma has to offer, including the Williams-Sonoma Credit Card and product launches.
- Know what questions to ask customers to understand their personal style and needs.
- Succeed in a team environment while able to work independently and manage your own.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role.
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
- Ability to operate the POS system.
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend and two during the week.
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
- Ability to operate the POS system.
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.

Benefits Just for YouThis role offers a competitive compensation package, including pay and benefits. Pay is based on several factors, including education, work experience, certifications, geographic location, and more. The anticipated pay range for this role will be $17.60-$18.60 per hour.
