h3Job Description/h3pJob Title: Senior Account Manager (SAM)/ppReports To: General Manager/ppDepartment: Sales, (20), Exempt /ppLocation: Ladson/ppSummary of Primary Functions: /ppDobbs Equipment is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager (SAM) to grow our sales and customer relationships in the region. This position will be responsible for developing partnerships with current and potential clients to increase market share./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliSell and promote entire product line distributed by Dobbs Equipment/liliGrow and develop customer relationships and loyalty to increase market share./liliProspecting and cold calling to increase customer base and market presence./liliQuote and negotiate prices, credit terms, prepare contracts and record and close orders./liliProvide on-site expertise for demonstrations, machine inspections and technical support./liliMaintain a contact management type database and call log for designated territory./liliManage market awareness and provide lost sales reports./liliProvide status report to sales manager as to achievement of goals and objectives./liliManage and maximize rental conversions./liliMeet or exceed company targets for units, dollars, and gross profit./liliManage and control sales related expenses./liliAttend training and sales meetings as required to stay current with new equipment and special deals./liliProvide feedback to other departments./liliProvide trade-in information when requested./li/ulpRequirements:/pulliValid Drivers License/liliEquipment Sales experience/li/ulpEducation, Skill, and/or Experience Requirements:/pulliBachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or a minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./liliValid Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record./liliAbility to communicate effectively with teammates and customers/liliStrong problem-solving skills./liliMust be able to self-manage/self-motivate./liliPC literate, proficient with MS Office, with an emphasis in Excel and Outlook required./liliAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form./liliAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals./liliQuick learner with the ability to think out of the box./liliExtensive driving required; overnight travel required /liliBilingual a plus./li/ulpWork Environment:/ppThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job./ppWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions.
