Job Summary

The Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the Pioneer Ridge Nursing Facility. This includes performing various cleaning tasks, such as mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with facility policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols
  • Report any incidents or concerns to the Administrator or Director of Nursing
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, family members, and visitors
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information
  • Perform cleaning tasks, including stripping and waxing floors, emptying trash, and cleaning bathrooms and common areas
  • Assist with special events and projects as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
