Electrical Maintenance Technician

Amarr, a leading manufacturer of residential and commercial garage doors, is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lawrence, KS. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, layout, install, and repair wiring circuits in accordance with established codes and regulations.
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electronic controls that require advanced technical knowledge.
- Diagnose and remedy electrical problems using wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and other technical resources.
- Work from oral and written instructions, and understand and use manuals and catalogues when ordering parts.
- Maintain adherence to company policy, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
- Minimum of 2 years electrical experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts and other equipment.
- High school graduate or equivalent with additional training in electrical technology.
