Crisis Mental Health Therapist

Catholic Community Services and Family Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Crisis Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Crisis Mental Health Therapist, you will provide innovative and flexible services to children, youth, and families in crisis, working closely with them to develop safety and stabilization plans.
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families and individuals in need. As a Crisis Mental Health Therapist, you will have the flexibility to work in a variety of settings, including community-based locations and family homes.
Responsibilities- Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services to children, youth, and families in crisis
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each family
- Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, psychologists, and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to families on mental health issues and resources
- Participate in on-call rotation responsibilities to ensure 24/7 crisis response
- Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences or equivalent
- Knowledge of WISe (Wraparound with Intensive Services) principles and practice or Crisis Response strategies preferred
- Passion for helping families stay together
- Energetic, innovative style with the ability to engage children, youth, and family members in services
- Enthusiastic and optimistic approach, encouraging ongoing participation of all involved
- Natural ability to work with others through a genuine strengths-based approach, appreciating unique qualities and assets of all involved
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Demonstrate the necessary attitudes, knowledge, and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi-cultural situations
- Ability to visually assess safety in the community and family homes
- Ability to meet with clients and colleagues in homes and community locations
