The Traveling Industrial Maintenance Mechanic position entails the upkeep, diagnosis, and repair of various electrical and mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment. This role requires proficiency in multiple technical areas, including electrical controls, fluid power systems, welding, and fabrication. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting machinery, providing technical support throughout all operational stages, and performing mechanical maintenance tasks of varying complexity.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Flexibility for different shifts, overtime, and varied workdays
  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Expertise in conveyor system repairs
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting
  • Proficient in computer usage

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in automation and controls troubleshooting
  • Technical education beyond high school

Experience Level: 3 years

Work Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 4x12 shift rotation
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Day and night shifts available
  • On-call duties
  • Overtime as required
  • Weekend work may be necessary

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Valid Driver's License (Required)

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel extensively (Preferred)
