Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team at The Tri-M Group, LLC. As a key member of our electrical services team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including branch circuits, distribution systems, and lighting systems.
  • Work from construction drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and conduct on-the-job training of apprentices.
  • Requisition materials and maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with all Tri-M and customer safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Minimum of four years experience in the electrical trade.
  • Completion of a state-approved apprenticeship program and the ability to obtain a Maryland and Delaware Electrical Journeyperson License, preferred.
  • Satisfactorily performs tasks at or above Apprentice Level 4.
  • Ability to properly lay out and administer small jobs (normally one to three team members).
  • Good working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Confident, decisive, self-motivated, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location/office.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Must purchase company required personal tools and maintain in good condition.
  • Ability and willingness to drive company vehicles as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regionally to jobsites as needed.
