Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Journeyman to join our team at The Tri-M Group, LLC. As an Electrical Journeyman, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the layout and installation of commercial and industrial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures, as well as employment policies and standards of conduct.
  • Work from construction drawings to install branch systems, distribution systems, lighting systems, motor, power, and control systems, and special electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate test equipment.
  • Conduct on-the-job training of apprentices.
  • Safeguard and maintain company equipment, material, tools, and vehicles.
  • Requisition materials as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Minimum of four years experience in the electrical trade.
  • Completion of a state-approved apprenticeship program and the ability to obtain a Maryland and Delaware Electrical Journeyperson License, preferred.
  • Satisfactorily perform tasks at or above Apprentice Level 4.
  • Ability to properly lay out and administer small jobs.
  • Good working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Confident, decisive, self-motivated, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location/office.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Must purchase company required personal tools and maintain in good condition.
  • Ability and willingness to drive company vehicles as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regionally to jobsites as needed.
