Position Overview

Role Summary: Effectively execute banking transactions with precision and ensure compliance with the institution's standards, protocols, and policies. Enhance customer engagement by offering tailored account solutions that address client needs through account initiation and management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute all responsibilities associated with the Client Relationship Specialist I role:
  • Exhibit commitment and dedication to nurturing and enhancing customer relationships
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the financial products and services available
  • Deliver a full spectrum of customer services, including the establishment of new accounts, elucidating available banking products and services, and collecting customer information for processing
  • Advocate for banking products, contribute to referrals, and address or resolve customer inquiries regarding accounts or other financial services
  • Ensure operational compliance and adherence to institutional policies and procedures
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the teller operations
  • Consistently provide outstanding customer service
  • Investigate and analyze information to resolve complex customer issues. Address customer inquiries related to accounts and transactions, exploring solutions for challenging problems
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of products and services; stay informed of changes and anticipate which offerings may benefit clients
  • Assist in the training and development of tellers and client relationship specialists; collaborate with the Retail Trainer and engage in assigned training initiatives
  • Support and serve as a backup to the Assistant Branch Manager, Teller Manager, or Head Teller as required
  • Perform additional tasks as requested or assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge required for Client Relationship Specialist I role:
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational hours, including weekends.
  • Capability to lift 30 pounds
  • Basic proficiency in keyboard and computer skills.
  • Ability to perform fundamental arithmetic operations using a calculator.
  • Possess basic business acumen and professionalism.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships and partnerships across the organization, exceed customer expectations, adapt to change, and demonstrate reliability and motivation.
  • Must have dependable transportation.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to become a Notary Public in MA.
  • Ability to uphold the core values of the institution (Focus on Customer Relationships, Embrace Change, Collaborate as a Team, Contribute to Your Community, Commit to Continuous Learning, and Uphold Integrity).
Qualifications and Skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two or more years of experience in teller or cash handling roles with a proven record of accuracy
  • Experience in customer service and/or sales is preferred

  • Standard business office environment
