Job Description

This role involves delivering parts and equipment to customers from our employee's home. You will be responsible for picking up parts and equipment from customers and vendors, coordinating with the Parts Manager, Inventory Control Clerk, Parts Counter people, or Shipping and Receiving Clerk before leaving.

You will need to complete a log at the time of delivery and request the recipient's signature. Additionally, you will be responsible for unloading the truck each night, turning in all paperwork and undelivered parts, and maintaining the professional appearance of the parts department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Distribute parts and equipment to customers
  • Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors
  • Complete delivery logs and obtain signatures
  • Unload trucks and maintain inventory
  • Maintain the professional appearance of the parts department


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A current, valid driver's license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • A DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • One year of experience in a vehicle parts department preferred

Work Environment:

This role requires regular lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting and moving of up to 75 pounds. You will also need to stand, sit, use your hands to finger, handle, or feel, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach with your hands and arms, take and hear. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
