The Account Executive is responsible for the management of customer accounts within their territory. This includes quoting, tracking, and forecasting sales.   • Business Development: Participate actively in development and implementation of strategic and tactical marketing and sales business plans that increase gross profit and expand market share in assigned territory.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Communicate with all current and potential customers on a regular basis, providing solutions as needed, and oversee all sales activity in your assigned sales territory.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other members of the sales team, procurement, and operations as needed to generate sales and provide excellent customer service.
  • Bid Packages and Customer Quotations: Comprehension of bid packages and requirements for retaining and establishing strong customer base. Oversee and ensure that customer quotations are kept up to date.
  • Forecasting and Sales Analysis: Maintain customer database, forecasting sales and gross profit (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
  • Account Maintenance: Ensure effective account management and maintenance of team accounts.
  • Organizational Reporting: Understanding of, and the ability to work within, organizational reporting structures working closely with the Sales Manager, Branch Manager, and the local sales team.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Finance preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of proven sales experience in previous roles. Industry specific experience preferred.
  • CRM System: Experience with a CRM system such as Salesforce required.
  • Driving License: A valid driving license and clean driving record.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Customer Relationships: Ability to comprehend and foster complex customer relationships.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as a team member. Capable of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with team members and other departments within the organization.
  • Company Policy: Ability to comprehend company policy, corporate directives, and infrastructures.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Ability to coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize work to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Background Check: Employment is contingent upon completion of background investigation, E-Verify check, and pre-employment drug screening.
