Materials Characterization Engineer II

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Characterization Engineer II to join our Materials & NDE Engineering team at Relativity Space. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing materials characterization processes to support the development of our Terran R launch vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement materials characterization processes to support the development of our Terran R launch vehicle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that materials characterization processes are aligned with overall program objectives.
- Develop and maintain documentation of processes and procedures for both equipment and test techniques.
- Communicate technical data to engineering customers and determine best practices for data output and reporting.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering or a related field, and 2+ years of experience related to materials characterization. A Master's/PhD in Materials Science or Materials Engineering is a plus.
