Process Controls Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Permanent Process Controls Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative control systems to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance product quality, and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Conduct detailed process and equipment analyses to identify areas for improvement and devise effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and translate them into effective control strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of control systems and processes.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for control systems across the manufacturing facility.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards related to control systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices for process control engineering.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and other team members on control systems and processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing control systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with various control system platforms, programming languages, and process control technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex processes and equipment and devise effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across the organization.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • A professional engineering (PE) license would be an added advantage.
