Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, greeting each table in a timely fashion upon entering the restaurant and upon seating.
  • Assist guests with ordering and understanding the menu, describe our specials, and provide suggestions to enhance their dining experience.
  • Balance tables effectively to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
  • Coordinate with our salad host to ensure salads are delivered promptly, input orders quickly, and communicate with our pizza makers to avoid longer lead times.
  • Periodically check on guests to ensure their needs are met and their experience is up to our standards.
  • Answer phones quickly and in a friendly manner, coordinate with pizza makers to quote prompt and accurate lead times.
  • Manage the cash register by taking payment quickly and effectively, making accurate change, and engaging with the customer about their experience.
  • Assist with running food to tables, making salads, keeping the restaurant clean, and taking care of guests' needs.
  • Perform open/close duties as assigned, including food preparation and cleaning of the restaurant.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience is required, but you must be hard-working and eager to learn.
  • Be proactive in performing job duties and take initiative to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as a team as well as independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a standing position for an extended period of time.
  • A Jefferson County Food Handler's card is preferred, but the ability to obtain one is required.
