Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Manager to lead a critical study on nuclear energy capabilities, trade-offs, innovations, and supply chain risks. The successful candidate will oversee the project's progress, ensuring that all research activities align with legislative requirements and scientific standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement research methodologies to drive project success
  • Coordinate with a diverse team of experts to ensure timely delivery of findings
  • Manage resources efficiently and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
  • Lead the execution of research projects by drafting proposals, selecting methods, and supervising cross-functional teams
  • Prepare progress reports, questions for data calls, and collect data
  • Conduct analysis of data, interview subject matter experts, and analyze findings
  • Maintain quality standards to preserve the integrity of data and findings
  • Write reports to summarize findings and implications of results
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably with experience in energy research or policy studies, and possess superior communication and organizational skills to effectively liaise with government agencies, industry partners, and academic collaborators.

  • Experience responding to congressional queries and conducting studies and research
  • Familiarity with Congressionally Directed Actions
  • Experience working with congressional staffers or drafting legislative correspondence
