Job Description

At The Boeing Company, we innovate and collaborate to make a meaningful impact. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results, and we're seeking a talented individual to join our BGS Supply Chain Engineering team as a Senior Manager of Spares and Engineering SOW.

This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of spares and engineering statement of work to support provisioning, procurement, and part ordering. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, risk management, and supply chain support.

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing integrated organizational plans, policies, and procedures to guide business and technical strategies across Engineering and Supply Chain.
  • Ensuring engineering support for provisioning and spares contract execution, coordinating with key stakeholders, including program management, commercial sales, customers, suppliers, and cross-business engineering leaders.
  • Assisting with technical issues to identify mitigation and execution plans to ensure the technical integrity of our spare products.
  • Developing performance metrics and monitoring adherence to program plans and schedules.
  • Acquiring resources, providing technical management of suppliers, and leading process improvements.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of engineering leadership experience
  • Management experience
  • Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated critical-business and financial acumen to influence and shape strategy
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field
  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally for 20% of the time
  • Experience with Boeing processes and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Team and Talent Development experience
  • Technical experience with product support/logistics disciplines such as supply chain and spares support, Field Service, etc.
  • Experience managing EVM metrics
  • Experience with Estimating and Proposal Support

Relocation and Onsite Information:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility and is expected to be 100% onsite at Seattle, WA.
