About the Role

The Boeing Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Spares and Engineering SOW team. As a key member of our Commercial and Military Derivatives Provisioning and Spares Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated organizational plans, policies, and procedures to support our commercial aircraft and military derivative programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and execute business plans, policies, and procedures to support our commercial aircraft and military derivative programs.
    • Lead the development of organizational and technical strategies to ensure the technical integrity of our spare products.
  • Engineering Support
    • Ensure engineering support of provisioning and spares contract execution and coordination with key stakeholders, including program management, commercial sales, customers, suppliers, and cross-business engineering leaders.
    • Assist and engage in technical issues to identify mitigation and execution plans to ensure the technical integrity of our spare products.
  • Performance Metrics and Monitoring
    • Develop performance metrics and monitor adherence to program plans and schedules.
  • Resource Management
    • Acquire resources and provide technical management of suppliers.
    • Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Relationship Building and Talent Development
    • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
    • Manage, develop, and motivate employees to achieve their full potential.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field.
    • 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data.
    • Knowledge of various engineering disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, and systems.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Team and talent development experience.
    • Technical experience with product support/logistics disciplines, such as supply chain and spares support, Field Service, etc.
    • Experience managing EVM metrics.
    • Experience with estimating and proposal support.
