Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Aerotek, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured parts by reading and interpreting customer-supplied blueprints. You will competently check each part to the blueprint and compile the data from the blueprint and record it onto the data collection document. You will work with the production team to ensure all parts are within tolerance throughout the production run and adhere to AS and ISO standards. You will also serve as a forward-thinking change agent, always looking for ways to help the company evolve to the next level. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-process inspection on the production floor and working closely with the quality manager and the Director of Quality as needed. You will participate in cross-departmental training and constantly interact with the production team, requiring good communication skills. Hard Skills include AS and ISO compliance, blueprint reading and interpretation, GD&T understanding, nonconformance and corrective action reporting, and stamping and fabricating.
