Job Summary

The Golf Cart Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for members and guests at Rumbling Bald. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating the front cart area with the highest level of professionalism, and maintaining the flow of play in accordance with posted tee times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable experience.
  • Operate the front cart area in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring the orderly flow of play.
  • Assist with rotating players as needed to maintain the flow of play, and check with the golf shop for any special instructions.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of scorecards, pencils, tees, ball markers, and other necessary equipment at the first tee and other locations on the course.
  • Post the conditions of play for the day and assist customers with finding a game when necessary.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a drive to succeed.
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends, if required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license without restrictions that would limit fulfillment of the essential job duties.
  • Golf experience or knowledge of the game required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

  • talk, hear, and speak with others using clear and professional language;
  • endure long periods of driving, sitting, standing, or walking in a hot, humid environment;
  • move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance on an occasional basis;
  • reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, climbing, and stooping, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel;
  • drive a vehicle for performance of duties.
