Cancer Care Northwest is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care by administering prescribed radiation therapy treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Position the beam of radiation accurately and deliver the prescribed dose to correspond with the designated treatment plan.
- Assist in patient care, treatment delivery, and radiation safety functions.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance throughout the treatment process.
- Operate and maintain radiation equipment to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, dosimetry, physics, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely treatment.
- Utilize radiation therapy equipment and software to provide effective treatment.
- Develop strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Adapt to changing situations and priorities, providing coverage across various locations as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
- Current National ARRT certification and licensure (Washington and Idaho).
- Valid CPR certification.
This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday work schedule and on-call responsibilities as needed.
CompensationSalary is commensurate with experience, with a range of $37.98-$56.97 per hour.
