Your Role

As a Paralegal at The Manely Firm, you'll be a vital part of our legal team, providing essential support to our attorneys and ensuring our clients receive top-notch service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Billable Hours: Produce an average of 130 client billable hours per month.
  • Drafting & Documentation: Prepare pleadings, correspondence, and family law forms with precision.
  • Discovery Analysis: Independently analyze and summarize discovery documents.
  • Client Communication: Engage with clients and witnesses to prepare for mediation, deposition, and trial.
  • Trial Prep: Create spreadsheets, graphs, and trial exhibits to support case presentations.
  • On-Site Support: Assist attorneys at mediations, depositions, and trials as needed.
  • Scheduling: Manage case-related scheduling and calendar events.
  • Case Management: Use our comprehensive case management system for accurate record-keeping.
  • Training: Participate in firm-wide and position-specific training and development.
Qualifications

We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic paralegal with:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred, or extensive experience as a family law paralegal.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years as a paralegal, with at least one year in family law preferred.
