Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food to our residents and clients. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food, including texture modified and therapeutic diets, following facility menus and applicable federal, state, and local standards.
  • Assist in ensuring proper receiving, storage, preparation, serving, sanitation, and cleaning procedures are followed.
  • Support the Dining Services Director and other employees as needed.
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, pleasant, and tactful interaction with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in food preparation preferred.
  • Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
