Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Infant Nutrition Technician to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As an Infant Nutrition Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient preparation, delivery, and storage of human milk and infant formula.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize our computerized inventory system to manage and track inventory levels, escalating any issues to leadership as needed.
  • Review and clarify infant feeding orders with the patient care team to ensure accurate and timely preparation of human milk and formula.
  • Monitor and maintain the temperature and function of freezers and refrigerators in the milk room, reporting any concerns to leadership.
  • Track and manage inventory levels of patient-specific milk deposits.
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain stock of preparation supplies in the milk room.
  • Collect, label, and store breast milk in accordance with established protocols.
  • Accurately calculate and mix human milk and formula additives based on order specifications.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • 1 year of experience in food service or healthcare (Preferred)
