SENIOR MANAGER OF FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE SERVICES

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

As a pivotal leader within the Bank's Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) division, you will oversee the management and accountability of our transaction monitoring (TM) solutions, which are essential for the detection and prevention of financial misconduct. This Senior Manager role is integral in shaping the bank's enterprise strategy for transaction monitoring, which includes the integration of advanced analytics and the optimization of various detection tools, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and enhancement of industry-leading AML compliance transaction monitoring practices.
  • Facilitate financial crime investigations to ensure timely regulatory reporting through improved workflow efficiencies.
  • Ensure the governance of data utilized in AML systems is complete and accurate.
  • Manage a team focused on model documentation and the analysis of rules and scoring, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Generate data-driven insights for effective management reporting to various stakeholders.
  • Oversee the creation of new models and the optimization of existing models for effective risk management.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years in a leadership capacity within the AML/BSA sector or related financial industries.
  • At least 5 years of experience with the Bank Secrecy Act (AML/KYC), USA Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations.
  • Familiarity with Actimize SAM and CDDX.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Advanced degree such as an MBA or JD is preferred, alongside 10 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in assessing, validating, designing, or managing various risk management and automated monitoring tools.
  • Certifications such as Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) are preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-up skills.

Compensation:

The starting base salary ranges from $127,626 to $237,014 annually, with exact compensation varying based on skills, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
