As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the continued financial health of the organization by providing critical analyses and insights that drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, prepare, and update complex financial models in Excel to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly reporting packages comparing actual and forecasted financials vs. budgets and identify variance drivers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistent messaging.
- Identify, measure, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other operational and financial metrics.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve reports and processes to enhance content and streamline production and distribution.
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and data anomalies.
- Develop reports that are concise, well-organized, and professional in appearance, with the ability to modify and distribute easily.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent related work or military experience.
- 2 years of experience in audit, accounting, or financial planning and analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 years of related experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Experience building or modifying dashboards in PowerBI or other Business Intelligence tools.
- Ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clear, organized, and thorough information to various audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop insightful, value-added, and actionable analyses with detailed explanations.
- Self-motivated work style, with the ability to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment.
