The Senior Data Analyst plays a crucial role in the analysis and reporting of data pertinent to dealership operations. This position involves the generation of intricate, recurring, and on-demand reports aimed at assessing progress towards strategic objectives, evaluating performance metrics, and uncovering areas for enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new customized reports and adjust existing ones as necessary utilizing the Tableau reporting tool.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to produce insightful reports and actionable recommendations.
  • Examine data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform strategic business decisions.
  • Spot opportunities to improve reporting processes and optimize data visualization methods.
  • Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data through thorough quality checks and validation procedures.
  • Support dealership management with financial reporting and analytical insights.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis and business intelligence.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field (Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency with Tableau reporting and Amazon RDS is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL processes is highly recommended.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage spontaneous requests and scheduled projects efficiently and accurately.
  • Detail-oriented with robust organizational and analytical skills.
