Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist PRN to join our team at StateServ. As a Respiratory Therapist PRN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in their homes, including setting up and maintaining respiratory equipment.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the state of employment.
  • At least one year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, preferably in a home healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment, as well as stand for long periods of time.
