Respiratory Practitioner II PRN Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Practitioner II PRN to join our team at Swedish Medical Center. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.

Requirements:

  • NBRC accredited RRT credential or CRT if grandfathered in.
  • Current Colorado Respiratory License.
  • Graduate of AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
