Position Overview:
The ACCESS Council, a prominent organization within the Ohio Education Computer Network, is in search of a qualified individual to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. This position is pivotal in steering the organization towards achieving its mission of delivering exceptional services to educational institutions and libraries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the overall operations of the ACCESS Council, ensuring effective management and service delivery.
  • Direct the administration of the ACCESS Fiber Network, including contract management, maintenance, and future planning.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain and enhance the Fiber Network assets.
  • Prepare and manage budgets in conjunction with the Treasurer.
  • Engage in security audits and fiscal assessments to uphold organizational integrity.
  • Develop and implement training programs to optimize software usage among users.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote ACCESS services.
  • Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Education guidelines and regulations.
  • Participate in statewide meetings and conferences to represent the organization effectively.
  • Conduct annual evaluations of staff and maintain job descriptions for all personnel.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of leadership experience in an educational technology environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of fiber optics, WAN infrastructure, security standards, and educational data processing.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong interpersonal relationships and maintain a professional image.

Position Type: Full-time
Compensation: Salary and benefits are determined by the ACCESS Board of Directors.
