Risk Management Specialist Leader

Capital One, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced Risk Management Specialist Leader to join its Enterprise Risk Management team. This role is based in the United States of America and offers a comprehensive compensation package, estimated at around $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The Role:
- Lead governance and integration for operational risk measurement programs, including policy updates, issue management, change management, MBR, and industry engagement management.
- Provide project management and oversight for Assessment and Risk Mitigation Programs execution, encompassing training, assessment monitoring, management reporting, and more.
- Facilitate assessment governance and methodology consultative services to 1st line LOB (Lines of Business).
- Perform assessment reporting to key stakeholders, identifying trends, themes, and ongoing monitoring of methodology results.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A proven track record of decision-making and problem-solving based on analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and oral communication credentials, along with strategic influencing skills.
- A clear focus on achieving short- and long-term goals, with the ability to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment.
- A minimum of three years of experience in Process Management or Project Management, and at least one year in Risk Management.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A Master's Degree in Business Management, Risk Management, Financial Analysis, Process Management, Project Management, Communications, Computer Science, or Information Systems; additional certifications such as ARM, LEAN, Six Sigma, CRCM, CIPP, or BPM Certification.
