Job Requirements
  • High-risk antepartum care experience, including fetal monitor interpretation
  • Ability to manage labor and delivery, including C-section circulation and post-partum care
  • Procedures performed on unit: C-section, circumcision, vaginal deliveries, antepartum testing, ultra sounds
Schedule Information
  • Scheduling requirements: Every 3rd weekend
  • Schedule Guideline available upon request

  • Unit Name: LDRP
  • Number of Beds: 11 Labor Beds/ 2 Triage/ 2 OR
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1 Laboring patients 3:1 Couplets
  • Unit staffing description: Birth Registrar/Surgical OR Techs
  • Type of equipment: Monica- wireless fetal monitoring/ GE fetal monitoring
  • Documentation system: Meditech/ CPN
  • Floating policy: Float to Sister Facility LD/PP
  • Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Report/ Safety Rounding
  • The unit is a small close-knit family-oriented unit. The nurses promote a team work atmosphere.
  • Self-scheduling platform.
