Job Summary:

T-Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Combat Systems Port Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for validating shipboard conditions, leading maintenance efforts, and ensuring mission readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with ship's crew and department heads to discuss maintenance shortfalls and implementation.
  • Verify and check off-ship maintenance 2 kilos, including equipment testing and system performance.
  • Recommend timing of repairs and identify cost-effective maintenance levels.
  • Provide risk assessment and prioritization of maintenance requirements.
  • Attend ship maintenance/repair assessment events and answer questions in real-time.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 15 years of naval combat systems operation and maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of depot level combat systems alteration, maintenance, and integrated test procedures.
  • Significant Navy experience as Chief Petty Officer (E-7 or above) or LDO/CWO level.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently traverse stairs, fixed ladders, and ladder-wells.
  • Capable of spending several consecutive days at sea as needed.
  • Reaching, handling, using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices.
