Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act. Utilizing therapeutic communication in daily practice, you will maintain a safe therapeutic environment and identify nursing problems as they relate to individual patient needs.
You will plan individualized patient care while utilizing an interdisciplinary approach and participate in performance improvement activities. Your goal is to provide care that fosters the goals of our hospital's mission and vision statement.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate age-specific knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients.
- Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Utilize the nursing process for individual care to meet patient needs.
- Demonstrate technical skills and procedures.
- Document all patient care.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Hold current licensure with the Tennessee State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
- Have Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
- Have at least 1 year of RN experience.
