About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Controls Engineer to join our team at Dematic. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and commissioning complex electrical control systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of electrical control systems, including planning, schematic, and panel assembly drawings.
  • Work with PLCs (Allen Bradley and Siemens), HMIs, VFDs, and other control systems to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering design projects, including commissioning and testing.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, control panel designs, and bill-of-materials.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams and less experienced engineers.
Requirements
  • BS/BA in Electrical Engineering or advanced degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in related field, with expertise in Allen Bradley/Rockwell and Siemens PLCs.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with scanning devices, photo recognition, and placement photo eyes.
  • Knowledge of AC drives, field device networks, and UL 508/508A standards for cabinet design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-starter, detail-oriented, and multitasking abilities.
