Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at M.C. Dean, Inc. As a key member of our Automation Systems Business Unit, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop control systems for industrial applications, including PLC programming, SCADA system configuration, and system integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system implementation and commissioning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, test procedures, and user manuals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve system design and implementation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in control systems engineering, with a focus on industrial automation and SCADA systems.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as ladder logic and structured text.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues.
  • Experience with CAD/CAE software, such as AutoCAD and EPLAN.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard protocols and communication systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in control systems engineering, such as CAP or CSSA.
  • Experience with advanced automation technologies, including AI and machine learning.
