Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance/Operational Risk Manager to join our team at ComplianceWise. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for executing the second line of defense compliance and operational risk oversight for our Front-Line Units, Control Functions, or Third Parties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the implementation of requirements from our Global Compliance Enterprise Policy, Operational Risk Management Enterprise Policy, and Compliance and Operational Risk Management Program.
  • Identify, challenge, escalate, and mitigate risks in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and interpret applicable laws, rules, and regulations to provide clear and practical advice to stakeholders.
  • Assess risks and effectiveness of Front Line Unit processes and controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Develop independent risk management reporting for the respective area(s) of coverage.
  • Engage in activities to provide independent compliance and operational risk oversight of Front Line Units or Control Functions performance and any related third party/vendor relationships.
  • Identify and escalate problems or issues that arise and drive actions to address the root causes that lead to compliance risk issues or operational risk losses.
  • Manage inventory of processes, risks, controls, and associated metrics for risk appetite and limits.
