Position Overview:
As a Clinical Training Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the orientation, clinical training, and professional development of nursing and clinical staff. You will collaborate with managers and team members to assess and implement evidence-based training programs and in-services that comply with state and federal regulations while fostering positive change.

Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold the organization's mission by striving for excellence in all job aspects, emphasizing positive relationships with colleagues.
- Design and deliver educational programs for clinical information systems.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive orientation and annual competency assessments for staff and management.
- Create and facilitate orientation sessions for clinical personnel and students.
- Act as a resource for staff regarding practice issues and the online education platform, Relias.
- Serve as a mentor for BSN, MSN, and other students as needed.
- Encourage staff and management to pursue certification.
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical competencies for all clinical personnel.
- Participate in the review and creation of patient education materials.
- Identify and develop online educational resources for all staff.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to present outcome-based programs.
- Provide ongoing education and updates to the training curriculum.
- Adhere to organizational policies regarding attendance and appearance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree required.
- Preferred: Two or more years of experience in community health nursing.
- Preferred: Two or more years of experience as a Clinical Educator.
- Knowledge of hospice care is preferred.
- Excellent teaching and computer skills are essential.
- Strong organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
