Behavioral Therapist

Cortica is seeking a skilled Behavioral Interventionist to join its team. As a Behavioral Interventionist, you will provide direct behavior therapy services to individuals with autism and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement behavior-analytic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in 1:1 and group settings.
- Develop and implement positive behavior strategies as developed and analyzed with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Work in various settings, including homes, communities, schools, and clinics, providing direct behavior-analytic care as determined in the child's assessment and treatment plan.
- Document all interactions, including data collection and session notes.
- Assist with individualized assessment procedures through preference assessments and data collection.
- Collaborate with families and supervisors to establish an environment supportive of treatment and education across all settings of care.
- Follow Cortica's crisis and emergency procedures, including de-escalation strategies and first aid.
- Experience working with children, preferably those with autism.
- Bachelor's degree in a human service field or relevant work experience.
- Registered Behavior Technician certification.
- Availability to work some days, late afternoons, and evenings.
- Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in software and systems, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
Cortica offers a competitive compensation package, including a sign-on bonus, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with company matching, paid holidays and wellness days, life insurance, disability insurance options, tuition reimbursements, and referral bonuses.
The base direct pay range for this position is $23.62 to $31.69, with compensation adjusted based on relevant experience, education level, and location.
