We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS INC. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to our clients, addressing their behavioral health needs with empathy and understanding.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, using evidence-based approaches to assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, working collaboratively with clients to set and achieve goals.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care, including crisis intervention and referrals to community resources.
- Participate in outreach and education efforts to promote mental health awareness and services within the community.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting cultural competency and respect for diversity.
- Master's degree in behavioral health or related field, with at least one year of clinical experience or case management experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Knowledge of mental health resources and community services, with a focus on serving diverse populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Cultural competency and sensitivity to the needs of LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, people living with HIV/AIDS, and other marginalized communities.
