About the Position

Jewish Family & Children's Service (JFCS) is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic services to adult clients at our Valley-wide Clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct Therapy: Engage with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized treatment plans, fostering a solution-oriented approach to address ongoing challenges.
  • Coordinate Behavioral Health Services: Collaborate with external agencies, such as the Department of Child Safety, Probation/Parole Departments, and Division of Developmental Disabilities, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Facilitate Clinical Oversight: Provide guidance and support to ensure the effective delivery of behavioral health services, including transition, discharge, and aftercare plans.
  • Maintain Cultural Competence: Deliver services that respect and value the unique cultural heritage of each client, prioritizing family stability and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with JFCS Staff: Work closely with behavioral health and medical staff to provide best practices and ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
  • Clinician III: Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Clinician IV: Associate License conferred by the AZBBHE (LMSW, LAC, LAMFT).
  • Clinician V: Independent License conferred by the AZBBHE (LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
  • Level 1 Fingerprint Card: Must be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint card without restrictions.
  • Reliable Transportation: Possess a valid AZ Driver License and AZ Auto Insurance.
  • Bilingual Skills: Spanish-English proficiency is a plus, with a salary differential offered for bilingual candidates.
