Job Title: Patient Services Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Lead to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a Patient Services Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and services.

Job Summary

The Patient Services Lead will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of patient meal service and special requests, ensuring that patients receive personalized and compassionate care. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with healthcare teams and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient meal service and special requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of meals and snacks.
  • Supervise Patient Dining Associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to determine menu alternatives for patients with food allergies and sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
  • Monitor patient meal selection, tray completion, tray delivery, and tray retrieval processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory agency standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams to address concerns and resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Previous patient services and supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to communicate and read documents, such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and operation and maintenance instructions.
  • Aptitude for operating hospital admission, discharge, and transfer (ADT) systems and other computer-based systems.
