Overview:

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to join their team in Pennsylvania. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to drive financial success while enjoying a balanced work-life atmosphere.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. They will manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, analyze financial statements, and prepare journal entries and reconciliations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of financial close processes, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
  • Oversee the entire accounts payable process from invoice receipt to payment.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations, including fixed assets and intercompany transactions.
  • Support internal and external audit processes as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting efficiencies and implement best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
