Job Title: Registered Nurse

Copper Ridge Nursing & Assisted Living Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supervision to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Observe and monitor residents' health and assess their needs to provide quality care
  • Work with physicians to create individual care plans and assist them during required operations or procedures
  • Maintain complete healthcare records and reports, including PCC, according to best practices
  • Supervise, manage, and assist in training CMA's and GNA's on staff
  • Perform routine procedures as needed, including administering medication and injections, and provide emergency medical care when necessary
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the facility
  • Collaborate with the DON in maintaining adequate staffing coverage
  • Effectively utilize existing manpower to limit the amount of overtime/agency needed to support staffing
  • Assess work performance of nursing staff while on duty, ensuring timeliness in services to our patients/residents
  • Maintain security of the facility, creating an environment that is respectful, team-oriented, and responsive to the needs of our staff, patients, and their families
  • Monitor nursing care to reduce hospitalizations and ensure positive outcomes
  • Encourage shift-to-shift communication between incoming and outgoing nursing staff
  • Review prospective admissions in relation to existing nursing capabilities and ensure readiness to treat
  • Ensure that patients' attending physicians and family or responsible parties are promptly notified of any significant change in the patient's health condition
  • Investigate patient/family complaints and take appropriate actions to bring to resolution
Requirements:
  • Current state RN licensure
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • In-depth knowledge of nursing care methods and health and safety guidelines
  • Responsible and compassionate with outstanding organizational and communication skills
  • Experience supervising GNAs and CMAs in a nursing home setting
