Nursing Leadership Opportunity at Kensington Healthcare Center

Kensington Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking a skilled RN Unit Manager to oversee the delivery of nursing care and provide leadership to the nursing staff.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the delivery of nursing care for residents and ensure that care standards are met.
  • Provide leadership to the nursing staff and support team members in achieving quality care.
  • Manage resources and assist others in managing resources to ensure quality care is delivered.
  • Ensure a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents and maintain resident documentation and records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure interdisciplinary staff participation.

Requirements:
  • Current RN or LPN license in the state where the center is located.
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or approved RN program.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in long term care.
  • Previous supervisory/management experience required.
